It all began in 2002 when owner Tori Von Hoene found her own personal oasis on the Florida coast.
After years of visiting the Panhandle with her family, Tori decided to make a permanent move to the white sand beach, turquoise water lifestyle, opening the first Ophelia in Grayton Beach in 2010. “The original inspiration for the name came from the 1975 song from The Band titled Ophelia.”
Fast-forward, Ophelia has grown considerably.
Ophelia now offers a beautiful selection of swimwear, clothing, and accessories brands stocked in its three prime locations of Seacrest Beach, Seaside, and Miramar Beach/Sandestin in the shops of Grand Boulevard Town Center.
The goal at Ophelia: for all women to feel beautiful.
We offer a uniquely designed shopping experience where the products truly stand out. According to Von Hoene: “We know how overwhelming it can be to shop for a bathing suit and everything you need for that perfect day at the beach, so our shops are designed to have the products take center stage. There’s a variety of types of women who shop with us, Ophelia caters to moms and daughters and women of all ages and sizes.”
Ophelia offers styles ranging from classic, conservative lines to trendier, more youthful styles.
Comfortable, stylish and high-end day and evening wear from lines such as Poupette St Barth, Sunday St. Tropez, and Faithfull The Brand hang alongside the latest one- and two-piece swimwear silhouettes from Karla Colletto, L*Space, Vitamin A, Boys and Arrows, Mara Hoffman, Beach Riot and many more. Activewear and basics round out the mix, along with fun pool floats, tote bags, sandals, and everything else you need for your holiday, pool day or backyard party.
