Well, mostly Because they look like this:

(Actually, we’d probably like that fleabag, too. Even with fleas!)
But let’s get back to the Fleabags we’re discussing. We’ve mentioned before that Ophelia likes to carry uncommon, handmade, eco-minded goods that are made in America whenever possible (here and here).
Fleabags are all of the above. The designers are friends from NY who created the Fleabag concept after growing discouraged with the plastic bag accumulation during fleamarket shopping trips. They decided to create “products that are as green as possible while maintaining high quality and covetable design. Fleabags are made with organic and vintage materials, vegetable-tanned and re-purposed leathers, and other parts all sourced in the USA. All silkscreens use water-based ink. Fleabags are made in the USA with good old-fashioned sewing.”

Melissa Odabash 2012 Swimwear at Ophelia
Melissa Odabash is synonymous with high end swimwear. Her designs have graced a multitude of A-Lister curves, including (and perhaps most impressively) The Duchess of Cambridge A.K.A. Kate Middleton (as we discussed here.) Pairing comfort with an exceptional fit in the fashion industry is no easy feat, but somehow Odabash triumphs with each collection, and 2012 is no exception! Allow us to elaborate…..
The Melissa Odabash Florida bikini in black features an under wired halterneck top with flattering straps and gold oval ring at the bust and versatile bottoms with ruching at the hips.
Pictured below is the Milano one piece in Truffle. This suit earns high marks for for creative use of ruching in the center panel, wide straps at the shoulder for comfort and elegant hue.
Ophelia also carries a variety of Melissa Odabash cover ups which may be paired with other pieces when not in use at the beach. The Melissa Odabash White Toya Cover-up is an embroidered bandeau style dress with a curved hem and contrasting beaded embellishments.
