Melissa Odabash is synonymous with high end swimwear. Her designs have graced a multitude of A-Lister curves, including (and perhaps most impressively) The Duchess of Cambridge A.K.A. Kate Middleton (as we discussed here.) Pairing comfort with an exceptional fit in the fashion industry is no easy feat, but somehow Odabash triumphs with each collection, and 2012 is no exception! Allow us to elaborate…..
The Melissa Odabash Florida bikini in black features an under wired halterneck top with flattering straps and gold oval ring at the bust and versatile bottoms with ruching at the hips.
Pictured below is the Milano one piece in Truffle. This suit earns high marks for for creative use of ruching in the center panel, wide straps at the shoulder for comfort and elegant hue.
Ophelia also carries a variety of Melissa Odabash cover ups which may be paired with other pieces when not in use at the beach. The Melissa Odabash White Toya Cover-up is an embroidered bandeau style dress with a curved hem and contrasting beaded embellishments.
We also love the Melissa: an empire line cotton jersey maxi with frill detailing around bust in a gorgeous apricot color.

And this is just a small sampling of many pieces of the 2012 Melissa Odabash Collection that Ophelia carries in the store. Please come in to see what critics and celebrities are raving about. If it’s good enough for a Duchess…….
Tori Praver’s 2012 bikini collection is in and it features the season’s hottest neon hues!
There are plenty to choose from, but we adore the Nirvana Neon floral print as shown here in the Raven top and Malia bottom.
As always, her suits feature a great fit and incredible details like braided straps as shown here on the Shyla bottom in Fanta,
and more braiding here in the Shyla top and bottom which are both shown in super chic Neon Native pattern.
And if you love fringe, we offer the Dusty fringe bandeau top which looks amazing when paired with the Hoku bottom in Watermelon.
This collection is already being featured in many magazines including this month’s issue of Vogue. Tori Praver bikinis go fast at Ophelia so shop soon for your favorite!
We have recently returned from Colombia and while we were there we made sure to bring home some of the new “it” bags for the season:
These are Wayuu mochilas. “Wayuu” refers to the to the indigenous tribe of Colombians who create the “mochilas”, or bags. Each mochila is handcrafted by a Wayuu tribeswoman and requires as much as 40 hours to complete. The colors and patterns are chosen by it’s crafter, imparting special significance and uniqueness to each bag. In addition, the monies generated by the tribeswomen are used to improve village living conditions and sustain local economies.
The word is out that we have Wayuu Mochilas in our Grayton store, so come get yours soon!!!
